No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Gracie Barra

Our No-Gi classes focus on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu without the traditional Gi, requiring only Gracie Barra shorts and a rash guard.

As No-Gi competitions grow in popularity worldwide, many of our athletes train specifically for this fast-paced and dynamic style. While Gi and No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu share fundamental principles, the key difference is in the grips. Without the Gi’s collar, sleeves, and pants to control an opponent, practitioners rely on underhooks, overhooks, collar ties, and wrist control to gain the advantage.

No-Gi training is high-energy, cardio-intensive, and demands quick movement and adaptability. It offers a different challenge from traditional Gi training, which often involves a slower, more strategic pace. Both styles are highly rewarding and essential for a well-rounded Jiu-Jitsu game!

Come train with us and experience the best of both worlds!
